We always talk about agriculture as the true origin of our company.
When the company was founded (1961), including as part of the process the curing stage, the Losada family had already spent two generations involved in olive cultivation.
From the 1960´s, the industry was leading in some way the growing of the company, but always with deep farming roots.
As the company welcomed its second generation, the Losada project focused on exports and building a project aimed towards varietal developing, always in keeping with the spirit of tradition and farming inherited from previous generations.
Looking at the long-term view of the project, the next stage of our philosophy is to close this circle and return to our roots, while integrating agriculture as part of the process.
With this in mind, new crop planning was scheduled in 2018.
In this crop schedule, from 2018 to 2022, an average of 30ha of new varieties per year has been planned.
